 My old house in London!

When I lived in London in Palmers Green one night myself and my house mate Sky went to the pub where she worked to have a few drinks. After closing we stayed for a few drinks and a chat with the bar maids and the landlord. While talking in the pub we talked about everything but the main topic of the night was ghosts! Myself and Sky were talking about our house and how things used to go missing from our rooms and then turn up a
few days later in a different room, when no one was in the house and as had locks on our rooms and locked them when we left the house we could never work it out.
It was about 3/4am by the time we left to go home we weren’t worried about the walk home as we lived less then 5mins away. As we got home we let ourselves in and headed to the living room to go outside for a smoke but as we walked up the hall we heard the front door slam shut and the chain on the door off and swinging. We both stood there stumped as I had locked the door and put on the chain making sure the door was locked and no one could get in. I went over to the door and both doors to the house were unlocked and the outer door was wide open.
So myself and Sky went over our steps and did everything we had done as we had entered the house the first time round but nothing happened. The doors didn’t reopen nor did we hear any sounds so we carried on as normal.
We didn’t really speak about what had happened the next day it wasn’t till me, Sky, Roxy and Denial, (my house mates) were all sat in the living room the following evening when Roxy said to me and Sky that we could have been quitter when we come in at 1am. We then told her what time we had come in and what had happened that night. Roxy then told us that the front door had been opened and closed 4 or 5 times during the night and people walking about the house.
We didn’t have much happen after this apart from little things been moved round the house out of people’s rooms or things going missing and a few days later turning up in a different place to where they were left.
Could this be explained by normal reasons?
Ok the things moving round one of my house mates could have moved it if it had been left in the living room. But out of a locked bedroom?
With only one key? And the Two front doors that were Both locked from the inside with the chain on the inner door on and locked in place?
I’m a little stumped!
What do you guys think?!
